The pharmaceutical company EG is a Belgian company and leader of generic medicines in Belgium. Today, the company counts 190 collaborators. EG is part of STADA Group and consists of 3 divisions: EG Generics, Consumer Care & Specialty Care. With over 30 years of experience, EG is the indisputable market leader of generic medicines in Belgium. The EG Generics portfolio contains almost 700 medicines (mostly prescription medicines) destined for the treatment of health problems in almost every therapeutic domain. The EG team also offers continuous practical support to doctors and specialists for a responsible and affordable patient care. EG Consumer Care creates innovative brands of nutritional supplements, medical aids and medicines that are available in pharmacies without prescription (OTC). EG Specialty Care also offers very specialized prescription medicines – mainly to hospitals and psychiatric institutions. About your role

As Specialty Care Representative, you are responsible for the sales results and market share growth of the promoted products in your region.

You are responsible for the development of your sector plan and ensure the implementation so that your region’s sales targets are achieved. Building a good network with relevant HCP’s in your region is key for success.

How you can make an impact

• Represent and promote EG products and services to Specialists within a specific geographic region.
• Build high-level of clinical product and therapeutic disease knowledge.
• Utilize advanced selling skills to drive depth and breadth of prescribing across customers.
• Build and extend business relationships with target HCPs and key stakeholders in assigned region.
• Develop and implement high-quality business plans for your region and initiate required actions to achieve sales objectives.
• Analyze and review performance of assigned sector against business plans to maximize opportunities and take actions to drive sales growth.
• Proactively seek business opportunities to grow business (set-up meetings with HCPs, active listening in the market to detect needs of HCP’s, …).
• Actively participate in team and company meetings by sharing insights, sharing of best practices, generating new ideas.
• Participate productively in symposia and congress events to raise EG awareness and identify influential customers/stakeholders to aid the promotion of disease, treatment, and product awareness.
• Work cooperatively with internal departments (Marketing, Medical, …) and Key Account Manager Specialty Care on various cross-functional projects related to specific accounts or physicians.
• Take personal ownership for proactively driving own development.

What we are looking for

• Degree qualified, preferably Science/ Applied Science
• Sales experience with proven track record of excellent sales results. Min 5-year experience in a hospital environment is a must, experience in biosimilars is an advantage
• Drive to deliver results & excellence in the job
• Ability to monitor performance and adapt plans to external and internal changes
• High level of understanding of the Belgian healthcare market
• Ability to connect and effectively collaborate cross-functionally.
• Strong verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills and ability to influence others
• Enthusiastic and dynamic personality with pro-active approach & positive spirit (focus on solutions rather than problems)
• Service minded and team player
• Native language: Dutch & proficient knowledge of English
