• Join Our Finance & Operations Team as a HR Operations consultant! ?
• Are you passionate about animal protection and have working experience providing HR operational support? Humane World is looking for a highly organised and people-focused HR Operations Support professional to join our team on n a consultancy basis. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining strong compliance with country ‑ specific payroll, pay, and employment regulations across multiple EU jurisdictions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys hands ‑ on work across the full employee lifecycle and is comfortable acting as a trusted operational advisor on leave, pay, and payroll ‑ related matters in at least two EU countries.

⏰ Part-time, 8 hours per week, June 2026-November 2026, with the potential for extension.

• Candidate should be based in the EU, preferably in Belgium or The Netherlands.
• Reviewing and updating internal HR, operational, and compliance-related policies to ensure they stay current and legally compliant.

• Managing the operational side of recruitment, including drafting and posting job adverts, coordinating interviews, and working closely with hiring managers.
• Preparing employment contracts and supporting hiring documentation.
• Coordinating Health & Safety requirements, including workstation risk assessments and mandatory training.

A minimum of five (5) years' experience in HR operations, or a similar HR support role.

• Demonstrated hands ‑ on knowledge of payroll regulations in at least two EU countries where we operate (Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Romania).
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, with the ability to interpret and explain regulations clearly.
• Confidence working with multiple stakeholders, including payroll providers and hiring managers.
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken.
• Must be a professional consultant and based in Belgium or the Netherlands.
• A broad, hands-on HR role with real ownership and visibility.
• Make a significant impact on animal welfare globally.
• This is a part-time assignment, estimated at 32 hours per month.
