We are looking for a 3D artist to create stylized props for a dark fairy-tale game featuring a strong artistic identity and a comic-book-inspired visual style.
The ideal candidate should have: Experience creating stylized props with distinctive shapes and visual appeal. A portfolio showcasing stylized work rather than realistic PBR assets Sculpting skills, demonstrated through portfolio examples Experience with comic-book, illustrative, or other highly stylized visual styles Familiarity with comic-book-inspired texturing techniques, including flat color fills, graphic shadows, and hatching Engine : Unreal Engine Preferred software: Blender - 5.0.1, ZBrush 2026.1, SubstancePainter - 11.1.1 Production Scope : creation of stylized 3D props for gameplay Technical Requirements:Pipeline: Simplified non-PBR stylized pipeline
Modeling: Midpoly workflow. No normal maps used. Highpoly/sculpt is required when forms are difficult to construct directly in midpoly.
Topology: Retopology generally skipped (decimated mesh can be used as final production mesh)
Texturing: Texture visual style inspired by Mike Mignola: flat painterly fills, strong graphic shadow, hatching-based detail, stylized gradients.
Requirements :
2+ years of experience in game art production and stylized 3D prop creation
Experience in sculpting
Strong stylized portfolio
Experience working in midpoly or non-PBR pipelines
Ability to match graphic comic-book-inspired visual style
Availability: 5-6 hours/day during June-July

Creation of stylized props for a dark fairy-tale game.
Comic-book texturing approach: flat color fills, graphic shadows, hatching
Portfolio should demonstrate stylized props with a strong artistic identity (not realistic PBR assets), sculpt examples.
Experience with comic-book, illustrative, or stylized visual styles
