Beschrijving van de functie
Als Accounts Receivable Specialist zorg je voor een vlot en correct order-to-cashproces. Je staat in voor een tijdige facturatie, volgt openstaande klantenbalansen actief op en bewaakt een gezonde cashflow.
Je verwerkt verkoopfacturen en inkomende betalingen, voert credit control uit en onderhoudt contact met klanten over betalingen en eventuele disputen. Je onderzoekt verschillen op klantenrekeningen en zorgt voor een correcte afstemming en opvolging. Daarnaast ondersteun je de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen, bereid je rapporteringen en analyses voor en werk je mee aan audits. Je waakt over de correcte toepassing van facturatieregels en interne controles en denkt actief mee over procesverbeteringen en automatisering.
Voor deze functie werk je nauw samen met collega's van Sales, Customer Service en Finance. Je rapporteert aan de Lead Accountant.
Jouw profiel
- Je beschikt over een bachelor Accountancy, Finance of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
- Je hebt ervaring met accounts receivable, credit control en order-to-cashprocessen.
- Je hebt een goede kennis van boekhoudkundige principes.
- Je werkt vlot met ERP-systemen en financiële software.
- Je communiceert professioneel en zelfverzekerd, zowel met klanten als interne stakeholders.
- Je combineert een nauwkeurige en gestructureerde aanpak met een sterk verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.
- Je analyseert problemen snel en zoekt pragmatische oplossingen.
- Je neemt initiatief, denkt proactief mee en steekt graag zelf de handen uit de mouwen.
- Je werkt graag samen met collega's, maar neemt ook zelfstandig ownership over jouw dossiers.
- Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van het Frans vormt een pluspunt.
