The  Sales Support – Breakbulk & Project Cargo plays a key role in supporting the commercial activities of the Outside Sales team and ensuring outstanding service to customers active in project logistics, industrial cargo, energy, infrastructure, heavy lift, and breakbulk transportation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quotations, coordinating commercial opportunities, supporting customer requests, maintaining CRM data, and ensuring efficient communication between customers and internal stakeholders.

Your overall goal is to contribute to customer satisfaction, support revenue growth, and help position CMA CGM as a preferred logistics partner for complex cargo transportation solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Support & Quotation Management

• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals for Breakbulk and Project Cargo opportunities.

• Coordinate pricing requests with internal stakeholders

• Follow up on quotations and ensure timely communication with customers and sales representatives.

• Support the preparation of tenders, contracts, and commercial agreements.

• Maintain accurate records of opportunities and quotations in NOVA, CRM, and other relevant systems.

• Monitor quotation validity, follow-up actions, and customer feedback.

Customer Support & Account Coordination

• Act as the primary internal point of contact for customer inquiries related to Breakbulk and Project Cargo shipments.

• Support Outside Sales colleagues in managing customer portfolios and commercial opportunities.

• Ensure timely and professional responses to customer requests.

• Coordinate customer requirements from inquiry stage through shipment execution.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Project Cargo & Breakbulk Coordination

• Support CMA CGM's specialized services for: 

• Breakbulk cargo

• Out-of-Gauge (OOG) shipments

• Heavy Lift transportation

• RoRo solutions

• End-to-end project logistics

• Assist in evaluating cargo requirements and operational feasibility.

• Coordinate with Operations, Equipment, Logistics, and Vessel Planning teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

• Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate updates when required.

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain customer and opportunity information within CRM systems.

• Ensure all commercial activities are accurately recorded and updated.

• Prepare reports on quotation activity, conversions, pipeline development, and commercial performance.

• Support management with market intelligence and customer insights.

• Contribute to commercial forecasting and business planning activities.
