The position

You make our Google traffic explode by optimising our website and our content. 

Responsibilities:

• On-site optimisation: based on thorough and creative keyword research you write great copy so that every page of our site is targeting the right consumer question. This includes writing personal finance content (blog articles, how-to guides) based on market and product research, improving existing articles by using SEO tools and translating content into your native language (NL or FR)
• You establish and maintain strong content partnerships with 3rd party websites by reaching out to relevant possible partners and come up with content ideas that fit both our expertise and their brand.
• Technical optimisation: you do regular website audits to tackle potential technical problems together with our development team
• Research, analysis and reporting: your optimisations are data-driven and you follow up  on the results of your actions. You are responsible for the monthly report which serves as another source of insights for further optimisation
• You contribute to excellent customer care on our website and social media
• Spot and test new SEO tactics through knowledge of the latest developments in the market
• Contribute to finding innovative ways of building a powerful brand around our mission to help people make smarter choices about money

Requirements and skill set

• Organising, curious, goal-oriented, ambitious and ready to take responsibility for your own results
• Strong interest in search engines and digital marketing, ideally with a first experience in SEO. An understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript is a plus
• You want to win and get a kick out of seeing the numbers improve day by day
• Large spreadsheets do not scare you, you are comfortable using a wide range of digital tools and are always on the lookout for new ones that could be useful
• Excellent writing skills with a good feel for how Belgians talk about and search for financial information
• 2 to 5 years of academic background in communication, marketing, business or similar
• Native level French and/or Flemish, fluent in English (written and orally)
• Curious about the financial services sector
