Manager, QCS, LIMS Lead Engineer

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Manager and Lead Engineer for their LabVantage LIMS platform serving Innovative Medicine globally. This role involves developing LIMS strategy, managing product roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams, and translating business requirements into technology solutions within pharmaceutical quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop vision and roadmap for IM LIMS product while guiding squad delivery of features
- Establish technology roadmaps balancing business value with technical feasibility and cost optimization
- Partner with Technical and Business Product Owners to align business demand with product roadmap
- Plan squad resourcing, conduct interviews, select and onboard team members
- Drive reporting and analytics to monitor squad performance, sprint metrics, and user outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 5+ years leading LIMS initiatives in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of LIMS and laboratory business workflows
- Proven experience collaborating with global, cross-functional teams
- Track record translating business needs into technology platforms and solutions
- Experience gathering requirements, developing product vision and OKRs
- Proficiency managing product backlogs, release plans, and team-level metrics
