Robert Half is currently seeking an Accounting Manager (m/f/x) for a full-time assignment of 6 months.
The company operates in the retail sector and is based in the Brussels region.
The challenge
This role is set within a demanding and fast-changing environment, requiring a manager who can combine strong technical accounting expertise with excellent leadership skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team through ongoing change while ensuring operational continuity and high-performance standards.
Key responsibilities
As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching, and supporting the accounting team on a daily basis
- Ensuring accurate and timely month-end closings
- Driving collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department
- Managing and motivating the team through a period of significant change and transformation
- Maintaining high-quality accounting processes and operational efficiency
The required qualifications for the Accounting Manager are:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager with strong accounting expertise
- Excellent people management and leadership skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
- Experience in change management and navigating complex organizational environments
- Fluent in both Dutch and French
