Senior Windows System Administrator

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 1 July 2026 – 31 January 2027

Workload: Full-time (100%)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows System Administrator to join a Windows Server Team responsible for maintaining and supporting a large-scale enterprise IT infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing Windows-based systems, supporting critical business services, resolving complex incidents, and contributing to the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the server environment. You will work across a broad range of Microsoft technologies while ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the organization's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Implement and support infrastructure changes and service enhancements.
• Perform application deployments and line-of-business releases on application servers.
• Maintain and support Citrix environments and Remote Desktop Services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Windows infrastructure services.
• Support Microsoft 365 services, including authentication, Teams, and Exchange Online.
• Contribute to system upgrades, maintenance activities, and operational improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Windows System Administrator.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Windows Server 2016 or later.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Windows Infrastructure Services , including:
  • DHCP
  • DNS
  • PXE
  • Windows Firewall Technologies
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft 365 technologies , including:
  • Exchange Online
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Authentication Services
• Strong systems engineering knowledge within Windows environments.
• Fluent Dutch language skills ( CEFR C2 level ).

• Experience with enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, particularly Change Management.
• Experience working in complex production environments with high availability requirements.
