Functional Analyst Banking and Invest Trading Sector

For one of our international clients operating in the banking and investment trading industry , we are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst to join a dynamic Agile environment in Brussels.
Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.
Your responsibilities
- Analyze and challenge business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications
- Collaborate closely with Architects, Developers, Product Owners and Business Analysts
- Design service specifications and contribute to data modeling
- Write detailed User Stories in Jira and documentation in Confluence
- Support Scrum teams during development and testing phases
- Participate in an international and multicultural environment
Required skills
- Strong experience as a Functional Analyst (+5 years)
- Good knowledge of:
- Financial products & investment trading
- UML
- SQL
- XML / JSON / CSV
- Jira & Agile/Scrum
- AI-related environments/tools
- Understanding of:
- Microservices
- ETL
- Containers & PODs xbpgvfh
- Service orchestration
- Message bus architecture
Profile :
- Degree in Business, Economics or Computer Science
- Native French or Dutch speaker with fluent English
- Strong analytical mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player with attention to detail
