Freelance FP & A Manager H/F

Interim FP&A Manager / Finance Business Partner 

On behalf of one of our clients in the financial services sector, we are looking for an experienced Interim FP&A Manager / Finance Business Partner to support senior leadership with financial planning, performance analysis, and stakeholder reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and CFO on company performance.
• Prepare monthly reporting for the Board, investors, and lenders.
• Develop board materials, including contributions to the Long-Range Plan.
• Partner with operations teams to monitor and control operational spend.
• Produce monthly operating cost reports, highlighting key variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Identify performance drivers and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Support cash flow optimisation initiatives.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure the accuracy of financial data, including accruals and PO processes.

Profile

• Proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance business partnering.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling skills.
• Experience preparing board-level and investor reporting.
• Ability to analyse complex business issues and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Financial services experience is highly desirable.
