About the Role  

As a Content Creator at Ogilvy Social Lab, you are at the absolute forefront of where the advertising industry is going. Content is no longer just a support mechanism. Today, it is the driving force of modern brand storytelling. In this role, you will transition from traditional creative ideation to becoming a full-stack maker. You will have the autonomy and with the Strategy/Intelligence department to spot cultural trends, pitch format ideas, and physically bring those concepts to life from A to Z.  

You will be a key player in shaping how our clients show up in the digital world, while simultaneously taking the lead in defining how Ogilvy Social Lab presents itself to the industry.  

Key Responsibilities  

End-to-End Content Production (A to Z)

• Ownership of Ideas: You are responsible for finding social-first content ideas and taking those ideas from initial spark to final execution.  
• The Maker Mentality: You don't just brief production; you produce. You will script, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality content independently.  

Creative Alignment & Team Collaboration

• Collaborate & Innovate: Brainstorm and build on creative ideas alongside a talented team of content producers and creatives.  
• On-Set Execution: Attend and help direct shoots when working on larger-budget, full-scale productions.  
• End-to-End Ownership: Take full ownership of smaller-scale projects—from concept to final delivery—when working independently.  

Directing Agency Strategy & Channels

• You will define, refine and roll out a distinct internal and external content strategy for the agency. Indeed, as the lead producer for Ogilvy Social Lab’s own social channels. You will create engaging, high-impact content centered around our award-winning work, agency culture, events, and talent initiatives.  

Commercial, Strategic & Competitive Intelligence

• Strategic Ownership: Define, refine, and execute a distinct internal and external content strategy for Ogilvy Social Lab.  
• Brand Voice & Channels: Act as the lead producer across all of Ogilvy Social Lab’s own social channels.  
• Creative Content Creation: Concept and produce high-impact, engaging content highlighting our award-winning work, agency culture, live events, and talent initiatives.  
• Be Our Creative & Trend Radar - Keep a constant pulse on the global content landscape. You’ll track how leading agencies and competitor brands are innovating, positioning yourself as our go-to expert on emerging social trends, formats, and best practices.  
• Commercial & Story-Driven Mindset - Ensure every piece of content is rooted in a deep understanding of our clients’ business goals, commercial targets, and core messaging. Social content should be engaging, but it must also drive real business results—creating work that both tells a story and moves the needle.  

Guardians of Quality

• Together with the agency's other Content Creator(s), you will act as the "guardian angel" of our content output. You will set, maintain, and champion the benchmark for what high-quality, impactful content creation looks like at Ogilvy.

Profile  

• Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to contribute to creative excellence.  

• Native or equivalent level of Dutch is mandatory. Good working knowledge of English.  

• Creativity and originality that align with the innovative spirit of Ogilvy Social Lab.  

• Effective teamwork and communication skills, fostering collaboration within the creative team.  

• A natural curiosity for current trends in popular and digital culture, coupled with foresight into future advertising landscapes.  

• Insight into human behavior and motivational needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of your audience.  

• A keen sense of color and form to contribute to the visual and aesthetic aspects of the creative process.  

• Ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining the quality of work.
