Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity available within our Sportsbook team in Brussels. Reporting to the Head of Sportsbook, you will deploy the website’s content across all channels, ensuring it reflects the Sportsbook strategy for Belgium (bwin.be). You will oversee all content on the homepage, sports pages, promotional sections, site navigation and specific betting features.

The ideal candidate is passionate about sport and sports betting, with an excellent eye for detail and a genuine strategic vision.
As a Sportsbook Content Executive, your main role will be to effectively manage the day-to-day operations and commercial performance of our sports betting offering.

You will work closely with the Product, Brand and Social Media teams. You will also contribute to campaign and content plans in collaboration with the CRM team, to ensure optimal coverage of major sporting events.
You will also work with the Content team to ensure that product pages remain optimised for the Belgian market and are constantly updated in line with the latest sporting news.

Responsibilities

• Implement the content strategy defined by the Sportsbook team to ensure the offering is tailored to regional needs
• Ensure the website content is kept up to date in a live environment
• Manage carousel banners, coupons and promotional content on the website
• Plan the promotion of content in line with sporting events specific to your region (Belgium)
• Ensure that promotions and offers are prominently featured to contribute to player acquisition and retention targets
• Develop longer-term content plans based on the sporting calendar, complementing media strategies and brand identity
• Work closely with the Trading teams to deliver bespoke betting content
• Analyse product performance based on their positioning on the website
• Ensure a seamless customer experience leading to key products
• Collaborate with the Product, Marketing, CRM and Trading teams to align campaigns
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in accordance with current Belgian legislation
• Arrange for the translation of all website content where necessary
• Carry out comparative analyses with competitors and make recommendations for content optimisation
• Regularly test customer journeys to ensure an optimal user experience
• Contribute continuously to improving the Sportsbook performance targets set by the company

Qualifications

Required skills and experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in the online sports betting sector
• Fluency in English, French and Dutch
• Previous experience in a role involving content management and distribution
• A passion for sport and excellent knowledge of the sporting calendar, with a strong understanding of the Belgian market
• A good understanding of sports and betting markets
• Experience with CMS systems and sportsbook platforms
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic and demanding environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High level of rigour and meticulous attention to detail when proofreading and updating content
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Strong customer focus, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and areas for improvement
