Position Description

Your role in our team
As a Director Consulting Services, you will be fully responsible for your clients, your team, and operational activities. Together with your team of around 15 colleagues, you will work to optimize our service delivery. You will lead your team in the development of new data-driven services for your clients, recruit new talent, and ensure the professional growth of your team members.
You are the central figure in service delivery: a subject matter expert responsible for maintaining and expanding strong relationships with both existing and new clients in data-intensive and analytics-driven environments . You will take the lead in business development and ensure the quality, scalability, and governance of the data solutions delivered.
You know how to balance your focus between results, engagement, and quality. As a trusted partner for our clients, you and your team work on growing and strengthening CGI's strategic position through data platform and analytics transformation initiatives . To stay connected to the field, you will also dedicate 50% of your time to strategic assignments.

The role of Director Consulting Services is highly diverse and an exciting challenge for a driven professional who combines strong leadership capabilities with deep expertise in data architecture , data platforms, and analytics, along with a clear understanding of technology and market trends.

With proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise data architectures — such as data lakes, data warehouses, and modern cloud-based data platforms — along with a relevant professional network, you know how to make this role a success in a creative and impactful way.

What we ask of you:
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT and Consulting Services , including strong experience in data and analytics
• Proven expertise in data architecture and data platform implementations (data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse architectures)
• Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT, and data modeling concepts
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern analytics stacks
• Solid knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and privacy principles
• Experience leading and scaling data engineering, BI, and analytics teams
• Ability to engage in in-depth technical and business discussions with clients
• Responsible for managing a PNL of €2M to €4M
• Responsible for managing a team of 15 to 20 people
• A strong and high-quality professional network within data, analytics, and digital ecosystems
• Extensive experience in business development , including strategic planning
• A completed Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in a technical, data, or IT-related field
• Native Dutch or French with excellent communication skills in English
