Internship: Sales Excellence for the cluster North & Central Europe

Air Liquide brings together the production and marketing activities of industrial & medical gases in North Central Europe (Benelux, UK, Nordics, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania). The area serves more than 200,000 customers, ranging from Hospitals, small businesses to Multinational companies in energy, analytical laboratories, semiconductor industry, Pharmaceutical, Food sector.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Air Liquide North Central Europe is looking for an intern for a minimum of 6 months for its Sales Excellence team, based in Brussels.

The team is focused on improving sales performance across the area through:

Sales Strategy : Focuses on market intelligence, industrial mapping, and territory strategy setup ("Maintain, Attack, Standby") ; Includes sales force sizing reviews and optimal resource allocation between Inside and Outside Sales.

Sales Rules & Enablers (Processes & Tools) : Drives process standardization and cluster-wide data homogeneity; Focuses on tool mastery and adoption (CRM, CPQ) alongside AI use case deployment to increase efficiency.

Sales Competencies : Covers structured onboarding, continuous skill refreshers, and standardized job descriptions; Accompanies sales managers in transitioning from administrative supervisors into active sales coaches.

Sales Performance : Focuses on disciplined target setting, accurate KPI monitoring, and upskilling assessment ; Drives team motivation through incentive scheme compliance and performance-based reward systems.

The candidate will support sales excellence team in:

• Structuring common sales excellence processes & deploy them
• Launching the incentive scheme across the area (target process, tools, analysis)
• Following sales results
• Participating in major tool deployment
• Launching AI initiative for sales
• Building and sustaining Knowledge management tool

Engineering or Business school
Excellent analytical skills, rigor and proactivity
Excellent interpersonal skills (interactions with different teams and cultures in Europe)
Basic knowledge of Salesforce and Power BI is a plus
Professional English ; Speaking german is a plus
