Middle/Senior Game Designer (remote)

We are Trailhead Interactive , a game development team driven by a simple mission: to prove that outstanding games can be created without massive budgets. We believe we have every opportunity to show the world that this is possible.

In less than two years, we built a fully operational outsourcing studio from the ground up. A steady stream of clients has given us the opportunity to begin developing our own original games. At the moment, we cannot offer the same level of stable salaries as large AAA studios. However, our team already includes many experienced Senior artists who are genuinely passionate about creating something greater than just another game.

Team size and structure?

Our team consists of 5 core developers and a network of 20-30 freelance specialists supporting our projects.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

The Game Designer's primary responsibility will be creating and maintaining all essential game documentation, from the Game Design Document (GDD) to detailed item documentation. The project's Producer will review the documentation and provide feedback and revisions throughout development.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

At least 2 years of professional experience in game design. Extensive gaming experience with third-person, story-driven games.

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly express ideas and give and receive constructive feedback. A strong desire to learn, improve, and continuously develop new skills.
