THE POSITION


A Housekeeping Manager Trainee works closely with the housekeeping department to check rooms, coordinate with housekeeping services and ensure high quality and cleanliness in our rooms for guests.



YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling outstanding guest requests or issues that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.

• Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines.
• Assisting Front Desk with guest services
• Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any health and safety incident, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behaviour.
• Regularly doing hotel rounds to check the surroundings and public areas on cleanness and safety.
• Carry out various administrative tasks.
• Carry out Fire, Life, Safety (FLS) tasks.
• Go the extra mile to provide our guests with excellent service
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
• Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.

• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a 24/7 hotel. environment, including weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Your English is top-notch, as you'll be helping a lot of guests with different backgrounds and knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• You are quality and guest oriented.
• You are stress resistant.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
