IT Project Manager SAP Infrastructure OnPrem

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking an IT Project Manager for a consultancy mission at a client site. You will be part of the Business Solutions department, reporting to the Manager Build & Transform. The main mission of the department is to ensure internal performance by providing quality IT solutions. You will develop, operate, and maintain a range of internal IT solutions, including the SAP suite and document management systems like SharePoint, Documentum, or OpenText, as well as intranet applications and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of technical projects related to the SAP OnPrem landscape, from scoping to production and transition to RUN. Your role will involve:

• Initiating, scoping, and structuring projects and work packages related to the SAP OnPrem infrastructure.
• Defining technical, architectural, security, operational, and budgetary scopes.
• Building the overall planning, milestones, dependencies, and capacity planning.
• Identifying technical, organizational, and contractual risks.
• Clarifying roles and responsibilities among internal teams, suppliers, and partners.
• Ensuring alignment of initiatives with the IT roadmap and departmental priorities.

These responsibilities will be carried out under Keystone Solutions' consultancy model.

Migration of SAP OnPrem Servers:

You will coordinate the migration of servers in the SAP OnPrem environment, including:

• Identifying the SAP servers involved in the migration.
• Coordinating technical and application impact analyses.
• Planning migrations by environment: DEV, QAS, PRD, sandbox, or others.
• Coordinating intervention windows, planned downtimes, and rollback plans.
• Monitoring prerequisites for infrastructure, network, storage, backup, monitoring, and security.
• Coordinating technical tests, application tests, performance tests, and post-migration validations.
• Preparing for production deployment and transfer to RUN teams.

Oracle – Sybase Migration / ECC6 License Optimization:

You will also lead the migration or rationalization of the Oracle – Sybase database platform in the context of ECC6, focusing on license optimization. Responsibilities include:

• Planning the database migration with SAP Basis, infrastructure, DBA teams, and suppliers.
• Coordinating conversion, migration, testing, and validation activities.
• Managing risks related to performance, compatibility, backups, and restoration.
• Monitoring expected benefits regarding license optimization.
• Preparing governance decisions related to costs, risks, and trade-offs.

Technical Roadmap Coordination:

You will coordinate the establishment and execution of the SAP OnPrem technical roadmap, which includes:

• Organizing workshops with architects, SAP Basis, infrastructure, security, and application managers.
• Consolidating technical initiatives into a prioritized roadmap.
• Identifying obsolescence, technical constraints, support risks, and rationalization opportunities.
• Defining execution lots, dependencies, budgets, and necessary resources.
• Monitoring the execution of the roadmap.
• Preparing arbitration for governance committees.
• Producing clear reporting for management.

NIS2 Activities Coordination:

You will contribute to coordinating NIS2-related activities within the department, which includes:

• Monitoring NIS2 actions assigned to the department.
• Coordinating with security, compliance, architecture, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Consolidating planning, dependencies, risks, and statuses.
• Preparing reports and follow-up committees.
• Monitoring remediation of identified gaps.
• Escalating blockages and necessary arbitrations.
• Integrating NIS2 requirements into SAP infrastructure projects when relevant.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is an IT Project Manager with proven experience in managing technical and cross-functional IT projects. You should demonstrate:

• Solid experience in IT infrastructure project management.
• Experience in technical migration projects, servers, databases, or critical platforms.
• Good understanding of OnPrem issues: servers, storage, network, backup, monitoring, security, performance.
• Ability to manage projects with numerous technical dependencies.
• Experience in supplier management and coordination of internal/external teams.
• Strong structuring, synthesis, communication, and escalation skills.
• Experience in project governance: planning, budget, risks, reporting, committees, change requests.
• Sensitivity or experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or NIS2 topics.

Fluency in French or Dutch: excellent
Second language French or Dutch: good
English: good
