Hospitality Talents , recruitment agency specialized in Hospitality profiles is currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Director of Finance to join the Finance team of our client, a prestigious luxury hotel, opening in 2024, part of a Luxury Hotel Group that is known for its exceptional service and world-class standards.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Assist the Director of Finance in developing and implementing financial strategies.
Contribute to budget creation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
Work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure the team's alignment with organizational goals.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency within the finance function.
Implement best practices to enhance financial workflows and controls.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address findings.

Strategic Initiatives:

Assist in the development and execution of strategic financial initiatives.
Provide financial input for decision-making on new projects and investments.

Technology Integration:

Stay updated on financial technologies and assist in their integration for improved efficiency.
Collaborate with IT to enhance financial reporting systems.

Profil

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Ability to speak English + French or Dutch.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
