Accountant (M/V) Full Time

For one of its clients in the Wavre area, Robert Half is looking for a General Accountant FR/EN for a temporary assignment with the possibility of a permanent contract , on a full-time basis. Our client is an international company active in the chemical industry , located in the Wavre area and currently undergoing a major transformation and growth phase . You will join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on collaboration , accuracy and continuous development within the finance team.
you oversee the general accounting activities for two entities and ensure the accuracy of the accounts;
you monitor accounts and analyse and process accounting entries ;
you monitor and report on cost accounting elements to support financial decision-making ;
you support the team during external audit procedures when required.
you have at least 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting ;
you have solid experience in general accounting , which is essential for this role;
you ideally have experience in cost accounting and financial closings ;
you have a professional proficiency in French and English ;
you have knowledge of German , which would be considered an asset ;
you are dynamic , autonomous and able to integrate quickly into a fast-growing team ;
you are comfortable supporting external audit processes when needed.
a full-time temporary contract of 6 months with the possibility of a permanent contract afterwards;
a remote working policy of up to 2 days per week after the initial training period ;
