The EU is regarded as a key footholdinICBC's global network. ICBC (Europe) S.A. in Luxembourg is looking for a talented Senior KYC Officer to join the ComplianceDepartment under a permanent contract. Purpose of the Position The Senior KYC Officer assists the business lines in securing compliance with the Bank's AML-CFT policiesand guidelines by establishing the regulatory framework. Reporting line to the Head of ComplianceDepartment Luxembourg, the European Chief Compliance Officer and the Management. Tasks and Responsibilities Manage the KYC unit team by defining clear roles and responsibilities of the KYC Officers, distribution of duties, follow-up and other team management tasks; Assist the Head of Compliance Department Luxembourg and the European Chief ComplianceOfficerin the exercise of their responsibilities for the AML-CTF/KYC obligations within the institutionsinLuxembourg and in Europe; Responsible for drafting the AML-CFT/KYC policies and procedures and guidance relatedtotheBank's activities; Oversee the end-to-end KYC on-boarding process, ensuring timely and accurate completionof clientrisk assessments and documentation; Manage and ensure the periodic and event-driven KYC review/refresh process for the existingclientportfolio in a timely manner; Control of the data quality input in the customer information system; Perform four-eyes check in the AML-CFT/KYC as defined in the Compliance Monitoring Planof theBank; Issue regular reporting on the performance of the Bank in terms of AML-CFT/KYC to ComplianceDepartment, the Management, related Committees and Board of Directors; Cooperate with Luxembourgish authorities and draft of reporting; Coordinate with internal/external auditors and Regulator's inspection on AML-CFT/KYC matters, if applicable; Act as an expert for business lines and Branches of the Bank in queries related to AML-CFT/KYC; Coordinate related staff training;  Build and maintain strong relationships with business lines and other related departments; Consolidate and conduct the related regulatory and AMLA reports; Participate in other Compliance Department topics according to the department's needs. Profile and Personal Skills Business school or university degree in Law, Economics, Finance or related fields. Specific educationin AML/KYC is a plus; Minimum 5-year experience in compliance and regulatory financial matters with a focus on AML-CFT; Fluent in English. Mandarin or French would be an asset; Deep knowledge of Customer Due Diligence requirements; Deep knowledge of AML-CFT Luxembourgish, European and international regulations; Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Knowledge of screening tools; Self-driven, proactive, objective, and detail oriented; Ability to organize a team's work in an adequate and efficient manner; Good communication skills and team spirit; Results driven with the ability to achieve objectives and meet deadlines while maintaininghighquality standards; Adaptability to different working environments and different business teams; Problem solving skills; Sense of discretion, confidentiality, integrity and transparency.
