German Speaking - Senior Fund Administrator - Luxembourg

Your mission Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2–5 Fund Administrators, including planning, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Act as senior reviewer for bookkeeping, financial statements and NAV calculations for alternative investment funds (PE/RE/VC/Infrastructure). Serve as the primary point of contact for German‑speaking clients, representing the team in client meetings and handling complex queries. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with LUXGAAP and/or IFRS (as adopted by the EU). Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and timely delivery of NAV calculations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements. Drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives to strengthen and optimise the Fund Administration department. Oversee cash monitoring, payment instructions, and invoice approval workflows with a strong focus on internal controls. Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and transparent collaboration. Your profile 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or audit, in the alternative investment industry (PE/RE/VC/Infrastructure). Strong technical expertise in LUXGAAP and IFRS (as adopted by the EU), with the ability to apply these standards across complex structures. Proven leadership abilities with experience supervising and developing junior team members. Native‑level or full professional fluency in German (written and spoken) is mandatory; strong command of English is also required. Confident communicator capable of explaining complex accounting and regulatory matters clearly to clients. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems commonly used in Luxembourg. Analytical, solutions‑oriented, and proactive approach to delivering high‑quality client service. Able to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
