The U.S. Embassy in Belgium is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Financial Assistant in the Financial Management Center (FMC).
The jobholder enables FMC to maintain its level of financial services to the Brussels Tri-Missions and to other serviced agencies in Belgium. Is the key point of contact for all official VAT related privileges and immunities for the Tri-Mission regarding ongoing services (utilities, telephones, etc.) and maintains close communication with the Belgian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Finance. Serves also as Alternate class B cashier.
Profil
EDUCATION: 2 years of post-secondary education.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years in accounting or in an administrative environment.
LANGUAGE: Fluency in English. Fluency in Dutch or French with good working knowledge in the other language.
