Through a dedicated and bespoke candidate service, Talencia works with you, to find the company/organization to match your career aspirations and talents As part of a major strategic transformation program following the acquisition of another company, we are looking for an experienced Data Project Manager to lead a large-scale data migration and integration initiative.
This mission will focus on consolidating data from multiple organizations into a unified Enterprise Data Platform while ensuring business continuity, regulatory compliance, and data quality throughout the migration process.
Given the complexity of the project and the highly regulated environment, proven experience within the banking or financial services sector is mandatory.
The successful candidate will coordinate business and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of multiple data initiatives while driving the integration of the acquired company's data landscape into the existing ecosystem.
About the Roleyou will join the IT Data division, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's Enterprise Data Platform. Working closely with Product Managers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders, you will manage several strategic projects related to data migration, reporting, and platform evolution.
You will also contribute to improving Data Platform delivery processes by promoting Agile best practices, collaborative development tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Data migration & integration:

• Lead one or more strategic data migration projects linked to the integration of an acquired company.
• Define migration scope, priorities, roadmap, and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate migration activities across business, technical, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Identify migration risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and post-migration support activities.

Project & product management:

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple data initiatives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Business Analysts.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure alignment between business priorities and technical implementation.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and backlog prioritization in collaboration with Scrum Masters.

Business analysis & stakeholder management:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and delivery priorities.
• Act as the primary interface between business teams, technical squads, and support teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Data platform & continuous improvement:

• Support the evolution of the Enterprise Data Platform.
• Promote best practices around Data Governance, release management, documentation, and Agile delivery.
• Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Encourage adoption of collaborative development practices and modern delivery methodologies.

Required skills & experience

Project management:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager
• At least 5 years managing Data-related projects
• Proven experience leading complex data migration or integration initiatives
• Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum)
• Strong experience in the Financial or Banking industry
