About the role

Join an established enterprise technology team responsible for developing and enhancing customer engagement solutions across voice and digital channels.

The organisation’s customer engagement ecosystem is built around Genesys Cloud CX, integrated with internal business applications and external services. As an Cloud Developer, you will play a key role in developing, integrating, and evolving contact centre solutions that support critical business operations and customer interactions.

Working closely with architects, business stakeholders, security specialists, and project teams, you will help deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions. This position also offers the opportunity to develop your expertise and progressively grow into a Technical Lead role.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain solutions supporting customer engagement and contact centre platforms.
  
• Build and maintain integrations between Genesys Cloud and internal or external systems using REST APIs, web services, OAuth, and event-driven mechanisms.
  
• Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  
• Configure and develop customer interaction flows, routing logic, automation, and platform integrations.
  
• Investigate technical incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
  
• Contribute to technical design discussions and recommend practical implementation approaches.
  
• Evaluate technical feasibility, dependencies, risks, and the potential impact of proposed changes.
  
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, security specialists, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
  
• Ensure solutions meet relevant security, privacy, quality, and engineering standards.
  
• Participate in testing, release preparation, production support, and monitoring activities.
  
• Stay informed about developments within the Genesys ecosystem, including AI-enabled capabilities such as Voice Bots and Virtual Agents.
  
• Share technical knowledge, maintain documentation, and promote engineering best practices.
  

Must-have skills and experience

• At least five years of professional software development experience.
  
• Strong experience designing and developing integrations using REST APIs and web services.
  
• Good knowledge of OAuth 2.0, authentication, and authorisation mechanisms.
  
• Experience working with distributed systems and integrations between cloud platforms and enterprise environments.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
  
• A solid understanding of software engineering principles, maintainability, and clean code practices.
  
• The ability to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
  
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
• A proactive, pragmatic, and quality-focused mindset.
  
• Fluency in either French or Dutch, with a professional command of English.
  

Nice-to-have skills

• Hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud CX.
  
• Knowledge of Genesys Platform APIs, Architect, or Data Actions.
  
• Experience with contact centre, customer engagement, or telephony platforms.
  
• Familiarity with SIP, WebRTC, or voice technologies.
  
• Experience with digital messaging platforms.
  
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, notifications, or webhooks.
  
• Experience with cloud integration platforms.
  
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
  
• Experience integrating contact centre platforms with CRM or enterprise applications.
  
• Exposure to Voice Bots, Virtual Agents, or AI-powered customer interaction solutions.
