Medior Functional Analyst (SAP IS-U Billing)
Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.I am currently looking for a Medior Functional Analyst with strong SAP IS-U Billing expertise to join a long-term freelance project within the Belgian utilities sector.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale energy and utility initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to optimise billing and invoicing processes in a complex SAP IS-U environment.
Your Role:
As a Functional Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business and IT, translating business requirements into functional solutions within the SAP IS-U Billing landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document business requirements related to billing, invoicing and customer processes.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, testers and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoice Management solutions.
- Conduct functional testing and validate delivered solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and provide functional expertise to business users.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within utility billing processes.
Required Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst.
- Strong experience with SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing .
- Proven experience working within the Belgian utilities or energy market .
- Experience gathering and analysing business requirements.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end billing processes.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Languages:
- Fluent in Dutch or French , and English .
- Knowledge of Dutch, French and English is considered a strong advantage.
