Job Description



POSITION SUMMARY


As a Front Office Intern, you will be part of the Front Office team and gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of an international hotel environment. Under the guidance of the Front Office team, you will learn how to deliver a warm, professional, and personalized guest experience throughout the entire guest journey.


You will assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, issuing room keys, and supporting payment procedures. You will welcome guests, respond to their questions and requests, provide information about the hotel and the local area, and help ensure that any concerns are handled efficiently and professionally.


You will work closely with Housekeeping and other hotel departments to follow up on room readiness, special requests, and guest needs. You will also learn how to use the hotel's operational systems, review daily arrival and departure reports, identify special requests, and support basic administrative and cashiering procedures.


Throughout your internship, you will develop your communication, customer service, problem-solving, and operational skills while gaining a comprehensive understanding of Front Office operations.


You will follow all Marriott International policies and procedures regarding safety, security, confidentiality, professional appearance, and guest service standards. You will contribute to a positive working environment by collaborating with colleagues, communicating professionally, and consistently demonstrating genuine care for our guests.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



Education: Currently enrolled in a hospitality, tourism, business, or related educational program.



Related Work Experience: Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an asset but not required.



Supervisory Experience: None required.



Languages: Good command of English is required. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.



License or Certification: None required.
