Als backend web developer bouw en ondersteun je de services achter onze digitale kanalen. Je ontwikkelt API's en integraties tussen Commercetools, DatoCMS, Akeneo en andere systemen. Je werkt in sprints samen met je team en vertaalt noden naar stabiele oplossingen. Je gebruikt AI-tools om sneller en slimmer te ontwikkelen en evalueert de output kritisch. Zo zorg je voor performante, veilige en toekomstgerichte toepassingen.Jouw werk is misschien niet altijd zichtbaar voor de klant — maar het is wel de fundering van alles wat dat wel is.

- je bouwt en onderhoudt API's en backend services
- je werkt met onze headless commerce stack
- je verbetert datastromen, performantie en betrouwbaarheid
- je stemt af met front-end collega's en definieert API-contracten
- je denkt mee over architectuur en technische keuzes
- je test, documenteert en optimaliseert je oplossingen
- je bewaakt security en volgt issues en verbeteringen op
voor ons ben je best jezelf, en ben je liefst iemand die
- Minstens 3 jaar ervaring heeft in backend development met TypeScript/Node.js
- Bij voorkeur ervaring heeft met NestJS of vergelijkbare opinionated frameworks
- Comfortabel werkt met integraties tussen meerdere externe systemen (REST API's, webhooks, async processing via cronjobs of queues)
- Begrijpt hoe datastromen, afhankelijkheden en foutafhandeling samenhangen in een gedistribueerde omgeving zonder transactionele garanties
- Bij voorkeur ervaring heeft met e-commerce, betaalflows of andere transactionele domeinen
- Ervaring heeft met Docker en bij voorkeur met Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Leesbare, testbare code schrijft en goed documenteert
- Helder communiceert met frontend-collega's en de Product Owner over wat technisch mogelijk is
- AI-tools omarmt als versneller in moderne ontwikkelworkflows
- Initiatief neemt en proactief meedenkt
