Office Manager (H/F/X) speaking French and English | 8-Month Interim Assignment | Brussels

Robert Half is currently recruiting an Office Manager (H/F/X) speaking French and English for a major European NGO based in Brussels , active in the protection and welfare of animals at an international level.

This is an 8-month interim assignment to cover a maternity leave.

The organisation is located in the city centre of Brussels .

Your responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the Brussels office, including reception, deliveries, office presentation and routine facilities matters;
• Liaise with the building owner, sub-tenants and external service providers;
• Coordinate office supplies, equipment and IT asset tracking;
• Work with the external IT provider and internal stakeholders to support staff with technical needs;
• Handle supplier follow-up, invoice checks and routine finance administration;
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and interns;
• Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements;
• Organise in-person meetings, including catering, room setup and logistics;
• Monitor the general inbox and provide broader administrative support where needed.

Your profile

• You have at least 3-5 years of experience in office management or operational support;
• You are highly organised and able to manage changing priorities;
• You are fluent in English and have an advanced level of French ;
• You are comfortable working with suppliers, invoices and routine financial administration;
• You have strong digital skills and are confident using standard office software;
• You are able to work independently and know when to escalate issues.
