Accountant - Luxembourg

Located West Luxembourg City, our client, an international company, is currently looking to recruit the following profile: Accountant (m/f) Responsibilities • Perform end-to-end daily accounting activities ensuring compliance with Lux GAAP, Group accounting policies, and proper supporting documentation • Ensure accurate accounting treatment specific to holding companies, including: o Accounting for participations (equity investments), including acquisitions, disposals, impairments, and dividend income recognition o Monitoring and recording of intercompany financing structures, including loans, accrued interests, FX impacts, and debt restructuring o Management of capital transactions, such as capital increases, reductions, share premium movements, and equity restructuring o Oversight of holding-specific entries, including valuation adjustments and governance-related expenses allocation • Implement and follow up on internal controls based on internal and external audit findings • Prepare accurate and timely Group reporting (monthly) • Perform intercompany reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and follow up on overdue balances - Perform balance sheet reconciliations and monitor intra-Luxembourg transactions • Prepare local statutory and legal reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual, or ad hoc) • Support the preparation of annual financial statements, including notes to the accounts • Handle ad hoc requests from Group Accounting, Controlling, and other departments (Treasury, Legal, Compliance) • Perform inventories and reconciliations of intercompany agreements and corporate documentation with accounting records • Contribute to the definition and improvement of accounting processes and procedures, especially for holding structures and financing flows • Participate in the integration of new entities and projects, including setup of accounting structures aligned with holding activities Profile • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance/Accounting • Very structured, with strong organizational skills allowing to manage properly monthly deadlines • Very accurate and highly reliable • Proactive, adaptable, and flexible • Fast learner, with agile mind and attracted by the diversity of ...
