JOB DESCRIPTION:

As one of our Freelance Project Partners, your objective is to guarantee the complete functional definition of a mobile application, from business needs to development-ready specifications, acting as the central pivot between business, UX/UI, architecture, development, QA, and project management.

Key responsibilities might include:

• Gather and challenge business and user needs to clarify real objectives, identify pain points and complex cases, and prioritize them with the Product Owner and Project Manager.
• Define and structure end-to-end User Journeys, decomposing them into detailed steps and identifying variants, exceptions, error cases, offline scenarios, real-time dependencies, and accessibility requirements.
• Structure and maintain complete traceability across User Journeys, Features, Screens, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Prepare the necessary elements for UX/UI Designers work, including screen mapping, definition of functional behaviors, and states such as loading, error, empty, offline, and edge cases.
• Work closely with UX/UI Designers to ensure full consistency of user journeys.
• Write Epics and User Stories, define Acceptance Criteria, structure dependencies, prepare refinements, and maintain a clear and exploitable backlog.
• Collaborate with technical teams to clarify expected behaviors, participate in UX/UI workshops, Agile refinements, and support QA/UAT teams.
• Maintain functional documentation in Confluence, structure functional repositories, ensure documentary consistency, and ensure traceability between needs, journeys, screens, stories, and tests.
• Deliver detailed User Journeys, functional mapping, Screen Inventory, functional Wireflows, Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Confluence documentation, UAT scenario support, and traceability matrices.

Profile:

• Senior level experience as a Business Analyst on complex mobile projects.
• Expert analytical capabilities and strong capacity to structure complex problematics.
• High attention to detail and strong documentary rigor.
• Proven experience in UX/Product, User Journeys, and Parcours utilisateurs mobile.
• Expertise in Structuration de backlogs complexe, Rédaction fonctionnelle, and Méthodologies Agile/Scrum.
• Advanced knowledge of Acceptance Criteria, User Stories, Epics, Wireflows, Screen Mapping, Screen Inventory, Gestion des edge cases et scénarios critiques, and Matrices de traçabilité.
• Advanced skills with Miro/FigJam, MS-Office, JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, Figma, ServiceNow, Draw.io, Test Management, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong experience collaborating with UX/UI Designers.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to dialogue with business, UX, developers, management, and vendors, and to vulgarize complex subjects.
• Proactive identification of inconsistencies and strong systemic vision.
• Capacity to work in transverse environments, facilitate workshops, and demonstrate team spirit.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a pragmatic approach and ability to propose concrete solutions.
• Strong user and delivery orientation.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in French and Dutch, and professional working proficiency in English.
• Ability to work on-site in Brussels, Belgium, for an initial duration of minimum 6 months.z
• An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic as well).
• Fast availability is preferred.
