Sales Manager – Bakery Ingredients
Our client, a leading international player in the industrial bakery and food ingredients sector, offers a high-impact commercial leadership role at European level. As a key contributor to their market-leading position in Belgium and France, you will be the driving force behind sales results and strategic market expansion. This family-owned company, founded in 1900, combines long-term stability with a strong innovation mindset and a collaborative, people-oriented culture. You will grow professionally through close involvement in strategic decision-making, exposure to major industrial customers, and intensive collaboration with expert teams in Technical Sales, R&D, QA and Supply Chain.

Role Responsibilities
- Steer and grow the industrial bakery and food ingredients business in Belgium and France, shaping and executing the commercial strategy to further strengthen the company’s European market leadership.
- Lead, coach and inspire a team of 3-4 Key Account Managers, guiding them in value-based selling, complex negotiations with major industrial players and the development of strategic business plans.
- Work closely with Technical Sales, R&D, QA and Supply Chain to translate market needs into innovative, high-quality solutions and long-term partnerships with key industrial customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in food technology, ideally complemented with commercial studies (economics, business administration), enabling you to combine technical insight with sharp business acumen.
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience within the food industry and proven leadership of sales teams, giving you the foundation to drive results, lead Key Account Managers and manage complex customer relationships.
- Strong knowledge of bakery and food production processes, excellent negotiation and value-based selling skills, and fluent communication in Dutch, French and English, allowing you to build sustainable partnerships and collaborate effectively across internal expert teams.
