We are looking for a Customs Business Process Specialist to join our team and drive the continuous improvement of our customs operations. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational teams, contributing directly to efficiency and performance across our customs activities.

How you create impact

• Design, standardize, and continuously improve customs processes to enhance efficiency and compliance
• Analyze existing workflows and identify optimization opportunities across import, export, and transit activities
• Support operational teams in achieving productivity and performance targets
• Ensure full compliance with local and international customs regulations and keep processes up to date
• Drive the implementation of digital tools and automation
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders 
• Lead projects related to process improvement, system implementation, and innovation

What we would like you to bring

• Proven experience in customs operations, brokerage, or business process management
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, or project management
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a cross-functional environment
• Affinity with digital tools and customs systems (e.g. Cargowise or similar)
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
