Junior Business AnalystWe are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to support IT initiatives within a complex technical environment, focusing on business analysis, requirements and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document business and technical requirements.
- Map and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes .
- Identify tasks, dependencies, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare functional and technical documentation.
- Support the transition of solutions to operational/run teams.
- Prepare progress reports, decision logs and project documentation.
- Contribute to quality management and risk analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, data experts and business stakeholders.
- Support long-term solution design and integration initiatives.
Required Skills
- Experience in Business Analysis and/or IT project support .
- Experience working in complex IT environments, preferably the public sector.
- Knowledge of requirements management and process modelling.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and MS Visio or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of IT systems and technical environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools is an advantage.
- Experience with ANPR, camera or sensor technology is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Structured, proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- High level of discretion and reliability.

- Dutch or French: Native
- Other national language: Strong passive knowledge
- English: Active knowledge
Location: Brussels
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, minimum 2 days/week onsite
Contract: Full-time, until end of 2026
Start Date: September 2026
