Service Desk Engineer fully remote

Voor onze klant zijn wij op zoek naar een Service Desk Engineer met minimaal 3 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring.

In deze rol ben je het eerste aanspreekpunt voor ICT-gerelateerde incidenten en aanvragen. Je fungeert als de cruciale schakel tussen eindgebruikers en de interne IT-teams om te zorgen voor heldere communicatie en een snelle, efficiënte oplossing. Je biedt technische ondersteuning, lost hardware- en softwareproblemen op en draagt direct bij aan de algehele efficiëntie van de IT-operaties.
Je werkt in een volcontinu shiftsysteem binnen een team van in totaal ongeveer 11 collega's. In normale omstandigheden werk je 2 of 3 opeenvolgende nachtdiensten binnen een periode van 14 dagen. Thuiswerk is voor deze functie niet mogelijk.
Talen: Je gebruikt Nederlands en Frans voor de communicatie met de Belgische eindgebruikers, en Engels voor het contact met internationale leveranciers.
Naast de reguliere support neem je bij calamiteiten de leiding. Bieden van snelle en effectieve technische assistentie via telefoon, e-mail of ticketing om operationele hinder bij de eindklant (Belgische overheids- en veiligheidsdiensten) te minimaliseren.
Fungeren als liaison tussen eindgebruikers en IT-teams om verwachtingen en oplossingen op elkaar af te stemmen.
Diagnostiseren en oplossen van hardware-, software- en netwerkproblemen over verschillende platformen en apparaten heen.
Implementeren van best practices om de kwaliteit van de support continu te verbeteren.
Accuraat bijhouden van incidenten en procedures om de efficiëntie binnen het team te verhogen.
Nauw samenwerken met andere IT-teams voor de escalatie van complexe dossiers en het ondersteunen van bredere IT-initiatieven.
Opleiding & Certificaten
Opleiding: Bachelor in IT (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring).
Talen: Vloeiende beheersing van het Engels, Nederlands en Frans.
Ervaring: 3 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring in IT-support of een Service Desk-omgeving.
Technische & Functionele Expertise
Support & Ticketbeheer: Aantoonbare ervaring met eerstelijnsondersteuning en het beheren van tickets via ITSM- en remote support-tools conform SLA-afspraken.
Technische Troubleshooting: Integriteit, ethiek en sterke waarden zijn voor jou vanzelfsprekend.
Stressbestendig, veerkrachtig en sociaal ingesteld, ook in uitdagende of acute situaties.
