German Speaking Compliance Officer - Luxembourg

On behalf of a prominent client operating in the commercial and distribution sector in Luxembourg, Le Grand & Associates is currently seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer (M/F/D) to strengthen their team. Your Mission In this role, you will ensure that the Group's activities are conducted in full compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements. Acting as a trusted partner to management and various departments, you will identify risks at an early stage and develop pragmatic solutions that successfully balance compliance requirements with operational needs. Key Responsibilities Define, develop, and deploy the Group's Compliance Management System (CMS), contributing to its continuous improvement. Conduct active regulatory monitoring and analyze the impact of legal developments on business activities (including commercial practices, economic sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), anti-corruption, and conflict of interest management). Draft, update, and implement internal policies, procedures, and standards. Monitor adherence to internal rules, analyze compliance gaps and risks, and drive necessary corrective actions. Ensure the compliance of sales, after-sales, and purchasing processes, as well as support functions. Plan and execute internal compliance audits across various entities and corporate sites. Act as the primary coordinator for exchanges with regulatory authorities, auditors, and other external stakeholders. Raise awareness, train, and support employees and managers to foster a sustainable culture of compliance and integrity. Prepare comprehensive reports and analyses for the Board of Management. Contribute to Group certification projects and the ongoing development of governance and compliance standards. Your Profile You have several years of proven experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Corporate Governance, or Legal affairs. You possess a strong command of compliance management systems, risk assessments, and internal control mechanisms. Prior experience dealing with anti-corruption, whistleblowing frameworks, economic sanctions, AML, and corporate policies is a significant asset. Experience in conducting audits, compliance reviews, or internal investigations is highly appreciated. You have excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory topics into concrete, accessible business practices. You demonstrate high integrity, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent diplomatic skills. You are comfortable and effective at collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders, up to executive management levels. Languages: You are fluent in French and German.
