Data Consultant

You're someone who believes data is only as valuable as the decisions it drives. You don't just build pipelines or dashboards, you think critically about what to build, why it matters, and how AI can accelerate the path from raw data to real impact.You feel at home in the  Microsoft data ecosystem and you’re energized by the idea of guiding customers on their data‑driven journey, from first conversations to impactful results.

What will you be doing?

As a Data Consultant, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of modern data solutions. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues while taking ownership of your own tasks, gaining confidence and expertise as you go. In a world of AI, you’re leveraging it’s capabilities to increase quality and speed up the delivery process.

Depending on your strengths and interests, you might be involved in:

1. Data Engineering : you integrate data from different sources — structured, semi-structured, and unstructured. You help build data platforms using tools from the Microsoft ecosystem, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and more.
2. Data Visualization : you turn data into clear, actionable insights. You build intuitive dashboards and reports using Power BI, focusing on usability and storytelling. You enjoy working with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into meaningful visuals.
3. Analytics and AI-Augmented Development : you support customers with descriptive analytics and explore more advanced techniques using Python, Azure ML and Databricks. and you’re curious to grow further into predictive or prescriptive analytics. You’re curious about agentic development patterns but do understand the importance of maintaining a critical and comprehensive mindset. You leverage agentic workflows to automate repetitive tasks.

With the guidance and coaching of our senior colleagues, you’ll gradually develop: 

• More autonomy in delivering end to end components of a data platform solution
• The ability to advise customers with confidence and quickly understanding what really matters to them
• Stronger technical depth across the Microsoft data stack
• Customer workshop and communication skills: the ability to ask the right questions and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Accelerated delivery skills using AI capabilities to ship better solutions faster without sacrificing quality

From creating the most basic reports to building a data architecture from scratch – you name it, we’ve done it. We’re the one-stop-shop for everything related to data . In the Microsoft Data & Analytics team, you’ll join more than 100 data engineers, analysts and scientists, working on innovative projects alongside one another. 

We love to dive deep into data to help clients get to know their company from the inside out. This makes every project  a new learning experience we get to share with each other . And we definitely love to share. Through team meetings, data snack sessions, going to conferences and reporting back on them and discussions (called DataCafés) we keep each other in the loop. 

We work where we work best, when we work best. delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Liège, Lummen, and Wavre . But it’s important to note we also spend a lot of time connecting and working together with customers on-site.
