Discover the Role

The Senior Payroll Specialist will be part of a growing payroll department, providing payroll services to a diverse range of international clients. 
The person will have a solid understanding of payroll legislation and will be able to process payrolls from the beginning till the end.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish a good relationship with your clients based on trust;
• Client meetings and conference calls, act as an advisor;
• Act as a team player and contribute to the growth of our team with your ideas;
• Be responsible for a client portfolio assisted by our supervisors in more complex scenarios; 
• Affiliation of international clients
• Daily communication with international clients
• Processing payroll based on input received
• Providing required output documents
• Assistance with local legislation
• Processing joiners and leavers; 
• Responsible for the Dimona declaration of joiners
• Calculation of settlements for leavers
• Responsible for declarations (DMFA, Belcotax) towards governmental bodies.

Key Requirements

• At least 4-5 years experience in Belgian payroll - preferably gained in an outsourcing firm
• Team player
• Client-centered
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Fluent in both written and spoken English as well as Dutch or French
• Stress resilient
• Responsible and organized
• Goal-focused (both individual and team goals)
• Eye for detail and quality-focused
• Problem-solving attitude
• Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
• Experience working with Prisma (payroll system) and Officient is a plus
