Role Overview

We are looking for a  Senior Database Architect  to join an international DevSecOps environment and support the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise database solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database architecture, data modelling, relational and NoSQL databases, and database security, with the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and data modelling activities.

• Design, develop, and implement database solutions.

• Reverse engineer and optimize existing databases.

• Develop, maintain, and integrate database components.

• Support integration with other database systems.

• Create and execute database testing programs.

• Define and promote database development best practices and standards.

• Produce technical documentation and architecture artifacts.

• Support system deployment and configuration activities.

• Perform database troubleshooting, optimization, and performance tuning.

• Conduct technical assessments, audits, and risk analysis.

• Participate in project and technical meetings.

Requirements

• 11-15 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong experience in data modelling and database design.

• Experience with relational databases, including Oracle.

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, MQL, and CQL.

• Experience with database architecture and database security.

• Experience with database release management.

• Experience working within Agile environments.

• Ability to write clear technical and non-technical documentation.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Experience working in multicultural and international environments.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL Developer Data Modeler, Hackolade, or NoSQL Workbench.

• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies.

• Experience with Atlassian tools, GitHub, and ServiceNow.

• Knowledge of PM², PM² Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
