As a Compliance Officer your responsibilities are:
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal compliance controls and policies.
- Provide guidance and support to teams within the banking and financial services department.
- Coordinate and conduct internal audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as required.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the financial services industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance objectives are met.
Jouw profiel
A successful Compliance Officer should have:
- A degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of compliance regulations within the financial services industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Proficiency in regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Fluency in English, Dutch and French
