Medior .NET Backend Developer
Role Overview
We are looking for a Medior .NET Backend Developer to develop, maintain and improve core business applications in an Agile/Scrum environment. You will work closely with analysts, architects and other developers to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services and REST/WebAPI using .NET Framework and .NET 8+ .
- Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET WebForms/MVC .
- Design, manage and optimize SQL Server 2016–2025 and Oracle 19+ databases.
- Develop and work with XML and JSON .
- Use Entity Framework Core for data access and complex query optimization.
- Apply design patterns, SOLID principles and development standards.
- Analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications.
- Write and execute unit tests and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use Azure DevOps, Git and TFVC .
Requirements
- Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core / .NET 8+ .
- Expert knowledge of Entity Framework Core , including complex queries and optimization.
- Experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC and RESTful APIs .
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle .
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Git .
- Good knowledge of SOLID, OOP and design patterns .
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to understand UML and BPMN models.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Autonomous, proactive and quality-oriented.
- Fluent/native-level French is mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Experience with WCF, SOAP/Web Services and W3C standards.
- Practical knowledge of Redgate tools.
- Knowledge of TFVC .

- Location: Brussels
- Work model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
- Language: French mandatory
