Functional Analyst

As a functional analyst, you will be responsible for the design of our IT solutions (electronic patient records) by transforming user needs into functional specifications:

• You help stakeholders specify requirements by truly understanding and challenging their needs and problems to translate them into a robust solution design.
• You seek the best solution to the requirements, taking into account the software capabilities, imposed standards, and project constraints.
• You collaborate with the team to develop prototypes.
• You test and defend your proposal to the stakeholders.
• You provide a clear and detailed functional analysis of the solution from end to end for the development and testing teams.
• You explain the solution to the development team and assist them throughout the development cycle.
• You report the progress of your work to the project team and identify potential risks.

Job Requirements

• You hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in IT.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a functional analyst.
• You have extensive experience in analysis within a complex IT environment and are capable of handling analyses involving numerous interdependent modules and services, many communication interfaces, Web services, etc.
• You have good experience in IT (data management, programming techniques, internet technologies, etc.).
• You have a solid knowledge of analysis tools and methodologies (UML, detailed use case writing, conceptual and logical modeling, etc.).
• Knowledge of agile development principles and methodologies (Scrum) is a plus.
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You have strong initiative and analytical skills.
• You are assertive, client-oriented, and solution-focused.
• User experience is at the heart of your concerns.
• You are optimistic, organized, structured, and methodical.
• You are open to receiving constructive feedback and eager to learn.
