DESCRIPTION & MISSION



Description:


You will support the Information Architect in tackling a concrete challenge: structuring, documenting, and scaling the UI Design System of a B2B industrial platform, while helping establish a reliable and automated handover process to the development team.


Your mission is to:
- apply your technical and design knowledge
- work in a production-grade design environment
- deliver a fully operational Figma component library and a clear, scalable handover framework



Your mission:


As part of the XIST Board, you will contribute to ongoing projects and support the team in their daily activities.


Your main tasks include:

• Analyzing the existing Figma structure, interaction patterns, and knowledge-base content provided by the Information Architect
• Extracting design guidelines, component specifications, and interaction flows for the IA to formalize
• Contributing to the creation of a Figma Component Library
• Exploring automated or semi-automated handover workflows from Figma to the development team

Expected Outcome:


By the end of your internship, you will have produced:

• A structured and documented handover package
• Clear UI guidelines
• Ready-to-use Figma components
• Defined interaction patterns
• All required documentation for development teams

SKILLS / METHODOLOGY


You will work with structured, professional methodologies such as:

• Lean UX
• SAFe Methodology

The skills you will develop:

• Basic understanding of design systems and component-driven design
• Familiarity with frontend design (Angular knowledge is a plus)
• Ability to extract, structure, and synthesize information
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication & collaboration:
  • working closely with a senior IA
  • asking the right questions
  • documenting clearly
  • presenting work-in-progress to a cross-functional team
  • following structured workflows
