IT Functional Analyst Consultant

Mission Overview:

This opportunity is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as an IT Functional Analyst. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic client projects, bringing your expertise to diverse environments and contributing to impactful digital transformation initiatives.

Squad Context:

You will join a multidisciplinary team within the Invest tribe, responsible for the digital contracting journey supporting investment products. The team focuses on delivering a seamless, reliable, and compliant experience for both customers and internal stakeholders, operating in a strongly regulated environment. Agile Scrum methodology is used, with 2-week sprints and a self-steering mindset, fostering collaboration across onshore and offshore members.

Mission:

As an experienced analyst, you will thrive in an Agile environment, shaping, documenting, and steering functional solutions for the Invest Contracting squad. All responsibilities are carried out under Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model, ensuring you bring value to every client engagement.

Challenges:

The squad operates in a complex ecosystem with multiple interactions between front-end channels, middleware components, and back-end banking systems. Solutions must meet high standards of reliability, responsiveness, traceability, and compliance. The environment is heavily regulated, requiring strong analysis, clear stakeholder alignment, and high-quality documentation and testing.

Activities:

• Gather and challenge business needs, translating them into clear user stories and functional requirements
• Produce and maintain functional analysis documentation
• Support process definition and ensure alignment across business and IT stakeholders
• Identify dependencies, impacts, and risks across the contracting journey
• Contribute to release planning and implementation readiness
• Help define test scenarios and support end-to-end validation

Participate in:

• Definition of change and rollout approach
• Alignment with architecture and technical solution design
• Alignment with Legal, Compliance, and other control functions where relevant

Working Regime:

At least 50% on-site presence is required (2 to 3 days per week).

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Native or C1 level minimum required
• French: Professional proficiency
• English: Fluent spoken and written

Technical Experience:

• Mandatory: Knowledge of common development languages used in the domain
• Excellent understanding of architecture (hardware, OS, networking, databases, middleware)
• Knowledge of methods, standards, and security procedures as well as development tools
• Preferable: Experience with integration using different technologies (distributed/mainframe) and infrastructure components

Business Experience:

• Mandatory: Knowledge of agile methodology
• Preferable: Banking experience, ideally within the Invest domain or customer-facing contracting journeys
• Experience working in a regulated environment with complex business rules and edge cases
• Experience in client communication, reporting, or process formalization is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset
