Job Description Summary Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager EMEA Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Finance Business Partner will have the responsibility on the End-to-End Supply Chain Financials for a specific Segment for both Europe and EMA and this in close collaboration with Supply Chain leadership team, business and country leaders. The main aim of professionals working within the Supply Chain domain is to deliver medical devices and diagnostics tests, high-tech instruments and equipment to customers and patients all over the world at an affordable cost and of the highest quality. Following the onboarding phase, the postholder will be required to work from the office in Erembodegem (Aalst) on a 2/3 days per week basis. Main responsibilities: Preparation, review, reconciliation and sign off on Financial Processes (Budget, ASR, Projections, Actuals) for the End to End Supply Chain (SC) cost components (Freight In, Duties, Freight Out, Warehousing, Order Management, Supply chain Planning) assigned to a specific segment. Monthly analyses, following up and reporting of SC financial performance for Europe & EMA and this for the assigned segments/businesses, supported by the SC Analyst. Monthly Tracking and calculating the impact of changes on the underlying Cost Drivers and integrating the financial impacts in the ASR / Budget /Projections. Creation, review, sharing, discussing of dashboards/reports on performance & cost drivers with partners Consolidation of SC segment dashboards in the broader BD organization, EMEA views Identifying of risks and opportunities Providing financial support and advise to the SC leadership team and businesses in order to drive key business goals. Implementation of projects in the financial processes in close cooperation with SC Finance PMO Accurate classification of the SC cost in the P&L Calculating accurate accruals during month-end closing (cross functional collaboration with the Centre of Excellence Logistics related to Freight Out) CAPEX management About you: You have a master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business management, Economics or equivalent by experience. A consolidated working experience in Finance (analysis) or business support Advanced understanding about Financial Processes (ASR/Budget/Projections/Actuals/CAPEX/…) and Accounting Professional experience in large global multi-segment business Advanced knowledge about ERP Systems (SAP ECC, JDE, HFM/FSM, BPC, Workday, Buysmart, …) Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, PowerBI, … Clear interest in Finance and Supply Chain, knowledge about integrated SC will be considered as a great asset Strong Analytical Skills – Ability to analyse, trend data and translate into information/reporting –Go beyond the numbers, determine the root cause of variances and consider the business/function implications in helping find opportunities and improve performance Ability to consolidate large amounts of data into reports, scorecards, dashboards, etc which provide insights into trends and highlight areas to focus on improvements Ability to provide guidance and leadership (incl. mentoring, coaching and motivation) to the analysts and other team members, lead by example eg.
