Project Management Support

As a Project Assistant within the Peace & Security Department at GOPA PACE, you will play a vital role in supporting the project management team in various administrative and coordination tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience and develop foundational skills in project management within international cooperation and development.
Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders by relaying information as directed.
Support in drafting correspondences, reports, and presentations under the guidance of the Project Manager or Project Team.

Assist the Project Manager (PM) or Junior Project Manager (JPM) in various tasks related to project monitoring and implementation.
Eagerness to learn and develop within the project management domain.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Proactive and adaptable mindset to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proactive approach to learning and contributing within a team environment.
Openness to receiving guidance and training to develop project management capabilities.
Proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Resilience to work under stress and pressure within an international setting.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Internet and database.
