Graphic Designer (remote)

We are building the fastest, most powerful customer support platform for the next generation of B2B companies. Some of the world’s most forward-thinking companies, like Stytch, Sanity, and Fly.io , rely on Plain to consolidate all the channels where they speak with customers, collaborate with their teams, and speed up their workflow with our lightning-fast UI.
So design here is about much more than moving pixels around in Figma. We’re looking for a Visual Designer to bring this mindset to all our growth, marketing and sales initiatives. You'll help us take our growth to the next level and work closely alongside our founders, our product designer Mitchell and our marketer Kate in bringing Plain to more people.
Work closely with our marketer, Kate, in shipping – and iterating on – all our marketing initiatives big and small. This means executing to a high standard across everything from Framer websites to sales collateral, social media assets and email campaigns.
Help us come up with creative ways to reach our audience. We’d expect you to not just help us ship quickly at a high quality bar, but help us figure out what we do in the first place. It might be a new kind of campaign, a content series, a set of events – you name it, the less conventional, the better.
Feel at home working in Framer and Figma. You should be able to tell when a few changes to a headline really make a page sing and how words and visuals play together.
Ideally have experimented with video a bit and are excited to grow this area of your skill set.
Are excited about working in a company with 2 designer-founders, and a culture where craft and product sense play an important role. The level of attention on design work can understandably be daunting for some folks – we’d want you to be excited about it.
You should be happy with a bit of chaos and adrenaline that comes from being in a fast-moving product team.
You seek input from the team vs iterating on your own and presenting only your final design.
While you'll be joining a very product-centric culture and work closely alongside the product team, your role will be predominantly about designing how we communicate the product, not the product itself.
We’re a seed-stage startup and are competitive in what we offer at our stage, but it’s a different role and opportunity than working at an established tech company.
