Data Support Officer

Location: Any MSF office* Contract: Fixed-term, full time
MSF practice is to offer the C&B package current in the MSF entity establishing the contract.

*By default, the successful candidate will be offered a contract in the MSF office of their country of residence at the time of application.

The Data Support Officer position has been created as a part of the SPINCO team, in the context of the project to modernize the master data ecosystem and will support the team and stakeholders to improve the quality of the data during development, migration, and rollout in the new software ecosystem. Support the identification and rectification of data quality issues within the existing SPINCO solutions
Preparation for and execution of data migration to a new platform
Preparation and execution of functional testing and user testing
Development and delivery of training materials to the targeted end users

Review and document data quality and consistency rules
Collaborate with the Technical Team to create and monitor data quality reporting
Collaborate with Data Owners and Process Owners to increase the quality of the data in their domains
Review and complete data dictionaries for existing and future systems
Prepare and complete mapping of data from current state to future state
Prepare data for migration to new platform
In collaboration with the technical team, complete migration of the data
Assist in preparation of user guides and training materials for end users
Delivery of training to targeted end users on how to complete data entry for new platform

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Certifications in data analysis, or project coordination are a plus.
• Domain expertise in Medical or Logistical areas are a plus
• 1-2 years experience working with data management responsibilities
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• English essential, French, Spanish, Arabic an asset

Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
