Bioanalytical Labs Project Manager - Belgium (Ghent) - 6 month Fixed Term

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and tracking of assigned projects. They will manage progress of work with external vendors for the contracted activities focusing on deliverables timelines and budget and nteracting with different internal and external stakeholders across expert areas and projects.

The Project Manager will tightly work with the scientific experts of the team and stakeholders from other functional teams andwill be an integral part of the team that discusses scientific matters and solves issues together

Responsible for tracking and managing our internal progress and also activities of external vendors focusing on deliverables timelines and budgets:
Plans shipments of samples to specialty laboratories during clinical trial conduct ensures in close collaboration with data management that specialty laboratory data are delivered in function of clinical trial milestones.
Drive and tracks the preparation of source data reports.
Presents regularly progress to the PharmToxBA team cross-functional teams and management
Ensures correct entries into financial planning and procurement system.
Collaborate and support Global Sourcing and Vendor Alliance Management in contracting activities

Degree in a life science (PhD or MSc with equivalence by experience)
High proficiency in written and spoken English
A background in animal science a relevant laboratory science and or clinical trials is a plus
Strong vendor relationship management (experience working with several vendors)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (both internal and external)
Proactive and accurate work style (high quality mindset not passive)
Project management experience ideally with clinical studies
