Accounting & Finance Intern

Our drive and enthusiasm make us a great team. We are looking for an intern for our accountancy department in Zaventem , who will shake up things around here, together with us . What to expect during your internship at RSM Belgium?
As an intern accountant, you will:
learn about the accounting treatment of documents (purchase invoices, bank statements, cash, wages, credit card statements, expense notes)
prepare and submit the VAT return as well as the intra-Community statement, the intrastat declaration and the structure survey of the National Bank of Belgium.
assist with interim reports, the year-end closing, complete details and book the year-end transactions
assist in the preparation of the internal annual accounts, in the preparation of the annual accounts and explanatory notes (to be deposited with the National Bank of Belgium)
complete checklists in response to the year-end closing (checklist accounting law, company law, tax law and AML)
calculate the advance corporate tax payments
prepare working documents for the corporate tax return (layout detail rejected expenses, tax provision ,…), VAT refund, withholding tax return
Are you a penultimate or last year student in Commercial Sciences or (Applied) Economic Sciences and do you have an interest in finance? So if you say check, check, double check on all these must haves below, you are obvious a “wanna have” for our team.

a Dutch or French speaking person who also speaks English.
